As we approach Spring, the majority of us are looking forward to warmer days and lighter nights. Below are some of my favourite hair styles to feel cooler whilst also being on trend for Spring 2025.
Baby Mullet-
The mullet has resurfaced as a favourite hairstyle over the past few years, with a traditional mullet being longer in the back. However, as Spring approaches we are seeing the resurface of the Baby Mullet, with length that is consistent through the front and back making the look a lot more airy, keeping you cool in the hotter months. To achieve a Baby Mullet, styling creams are the best products to use, especially for those with straighter hair looking to achieve a wavier look.
Textured Buzz Cut-
Whilst being a classic cut over the years, the buzz cut is resurfacing for Spring and is the perfect low maintenance look. The textured buzz cut allows for some slightly more hair on top which can transition in to a more tailored buzz cut in the summer months, at its hottest. This look is known for its versatility and can work well on all hair types, ensuring a flattering result.
The Urban Slick Back-
This look is perfect for spring, taking the classic slick back look and tailoring the sides, its neat but not too polished, offering a more relaxed look making it perfect for Spring. This contrasting softness and harsh lines creates a unique look embracing different textures. A pomade is the best product to use for this look, as well as fine comb for precision.
Messy Quiff-
The messy quiff takes on a classic cut and adds a modern twist, adding texture and focusing on hair movement. This look works on many different hair types, but especially well for those with thicker hair. The messy quiff is an easy to style, low maintenance look inspired by the early 2000’s and has become a classic look for men of all ages.
