Avoid using heavy conditioners-
Opting for lightweight conditioners will allow your hair to be more voluminous. Heavier conditioners can weigh the hair down creating a flat look. It is important to know your hair type and use products that are going to work in your favour. When washing hair, apply conditioner to the ends only, this prevents hair from becoming greasy quickly.
Use a sea salt spray-
Using a sea salt spray is a great way to add volume to the hair. The spray helps the hair stand away from the scalp by encouraging volume and pushes hair away from the root. Using a sea salt spray can also refresh the hair whilst also adding texture and volume. The best way to use this is on towel dried hair and spray a few inches away for the best results. Sea salt sprays work and benefit all hair types.

The upside down blow-dry-
As strange as it sounds, this technique is proven to add more volume to your hair. Begin with towel dried hair and apply your desired product of choice; sea salt spray, volumising powder etc. By flipping the hair upside down you allow the hair to float naturally in the desired position. Use a rounded brush to get the desired shape before blasting with some cold air to hold in to place.
Using dry shampoo-
Using a volumising dry shampoo kills two birds with one stone. Dry shampoo is an amazing tool for adding volume and for bringing your hair back to life after a few days! This product is super simple to use and can be used throughout the day to add some love back in to your hair. It also adds some texture to your hair, creating a fuller look.
